How it worked
A network like this does many jobs at once. It runs events through the year, sells memberships to organisations, keeps its partners visible and stays in touch with thousands of people. When each of those jobs lives in a different tool, the community ends up split across them. This network had its contacts in 39 separate exports, and no single send could reach everyone.
CT brought those jobs into one branded app on the network’s own domain. People sign in without a password. Event passes sell through Stripe checkout, each receipt carries a QR code, and staff check guests in by scanning it. Organisations buy memberships of $1k to $10k by invoice and pay by bank transfer, which avoids roughly 3% in card fees, and recording the payment switches the membership on. Staff edit the partner page from the admin and changes go live straight away. Event photos sit in galleries people can swipe through, and attendees can share a branded image to LinkedIn.
The contact work shows what having it all in one place makes possible. The 39 exports were matched into one list of about 2,540 subscribed people, every email passed a pre-send check for an unsubscribe link, and the announcement went to 2,539 people, about 4x the network’s largest send before. The first $99 pass sold within 2 hours, to a lapsed attendee. Alongside the platform work, three grant applications have gone in.
